                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE TRACTS OF LAND LOCATED AT 1041 AND
                   1047 GIVENS ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE
                   OF GIVENS ROAD SOUTHWEST OF EAST BRAINERD ROAD,
                   FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO RZ-1 RESIDENTIAL
                   TOWNHOUSE ZONE AND R-T/Z RESIDENTIAL
                   TOWNHOUSE/ZERO LOT LINE ZONE, SUBJECT TO
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
                From R-1 to RZ-1 - Part of Lot 33, Plat Book 11,
                Page 32, Deed Book 4476, Page 697, ROHC, being two
                hundred-fifty (250) feet deep, beginning on the
                east line of the new right-of-way of Givens Road
                and going westwardly.  Tax Map No. 171B-A-010 part.
               
                   From R-1 to R-T/Z - Property described as the
                remainder of Lot 33 (not zoned to RZ-1), Plat Book
                11, Page 32, Deed Book 4476, Page 697; and part of
                Lot 4, Plat Book 49, Page 400, Deed Book 4326, Page
                569, ROHC, excluding the eastern two hundred-fifty
                (250) feet beginning at Givens Road and going
                westwardly.  Tax Map No. 171B-A-011 part.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to RZ-1 Zero Lot Line Residential 
Zone
         and R-T/Z Residential Townhouse/Zero Lot Line Zone.
        
              SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 
shall
         be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Subject to a maximum of 33 units; and
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
